IT Infrastucture Move/Build: Northeast Credit Collection

In 2009, the former NCC (now: Commonwealth Financial Systems) conducted a physical move from one location to another.  This move was to a new facility that needed a new technology infrastructure.  In partnering with Keynetx, Inc., FJA Solutions provided project management expertise to see the following tasks were planned and exectuted:

Tasks:

  • Project Planning utilizing MS Project.
  • Creation of vendor bidding templates.
  • Utilization of MS Sharepoint for tasks management.
  • Physical plant upgrade management:
    • Carpet selection/installation
    • Cubicle construction
    • IT Room Electrical Upgrade
    • Painting
  • IT Room Build
    • Rack selection and installation
    • Server selection & implementation
  • PC Selection and implementation for floor
  • Security
